So here I am at Starbucks, still kinda sick but feeling a bit better. Tryin to keep out of the house because I know I always stay sick longer if I stay at home. I should start heading home soon because its almost time for dinner but not quite yet.

Ran over to Barns and Nobles (sp?) to look at some drawing books, but sadly found out that all they have now are "How to draw anime" books. Leh sigh.....not that I dont like anime, but not exactly what I was looking for. They didnt even have a decent life drawing book, which really bummed me out. The only thing that I found useful was that they had a "How to draw the Undead" book which gave me a couple ideas with how to go about my "creative" (more like distructive) process. Oh, another thing that I did find, which I found hilarious, was a book on "How to draw Erotic Anime", basically pron with a step by step on how it was made. That book had seen alot of use, probably by the 16 and under age. Corners were rolled, pages worn, and certain pages dogeared....completely hilarious. It wasnt't even good art, more like something someone threw together in a weekend and expected to make $30 a pop on.

Although I did not leave empty handed, picked up a refil book for my Journal, happy day! Now I can finally start keeping a personal journal again without being haunted by my highschool past and horrible relationship. In highnedsight, its probably going to be more of an idea book for my upcoming webcomic thing that I am putting together. Kind of hush hush right now, as I still suck horribly at drawing and I am completely out of practice, but I will post up some concept art soonish when I have some. I lost about half my notes that were on my iphone because the damned thing crashed on me and I had to do a full reset, so I have to try and remember what I wrote down, because I think it was some pretty good stuff.
